Stainless steel slip over cover (paint optional) that covers the exterior vent access points with a screw notch? ..so it operates as normal but doesn't get mutilated like he plastic one does over time?

If I'm not mistaken he means what's known in smart circles as the two service hatch (just below the windscreen on a 450) access/release screws.

If you mash them up you'll have to find a new hatch, cos I've never seen any aftermarket for this item.

Thanks, one set of mine on krtek is looking chewed up, I may have to experiment with a malleable material to bolster the strength of the spot area.

First 15 seconds shows the vent locking & notch, for the screen wash filled access & air intake for cabin vent filter.👍

Thanks .... It's not something I'd ever thought of, having a 451 I'd just assumed the 450 was the same. )
