    Default Bought a 450 0.7 Brabus "Red A edition" 55.2KW / 74 HP today.

Yup, bought today, picking up tomorrow.

First off, critically I know nothing about this model, so any info on 0.7 brabus pointers to threads etc appreciated.

As it has done minimal mileage the last few years we will need to fit new seals & re-gas the air con.

Yokohama, bad boy wide wheels? (fitted)

The dash cubby has been taken out & a 10? inch android screen (boots up as "pumpkin") with radio, sat nav etc on a ball joint so the heater levers can be operated.

I'm afraid the red theme is overcooked by the red led's chosen for interior rear / front lights ..no good for me or nipper, bright red to white will be swapped out.

Pioneer sub under the passenger seat, HF/U's on the dash, LF/U's installed in the head-rests.
Somebody loved this little sucker enough to buy it a private plate, ..key tag indicates i was called scarlett, so likely now "Big Red" ..a Scottish thing ..as otherwise i'd e calling it "scarlett the harlot"

Ignition has been modded for keyless start, has an LED in it & the android screen is hardwired so i'm curious as to what sort of battery drain i'll likely encounter.

rear side windows have been covered over & wrapped. ..bah!
Seat backs, thought they were painted, ...bah they are wrapped too!
    Rear spoiler appears wrapped ...pish!
Water in hi-rear brake light lens (quell surprise).
    Angel eyes fitted, Yay.
Good jet spray front & rear .

Now having only had a peep at the engine, it has a "forge" silicone pipe (1 or more) ..aftermarket or standard on the Red edition?

...update, Erm, I just found the car (& dug through some of the invoices) ...it's got a few pics on Smart cars specialist ltd (guildford) site
https://www.smartcarspecialist.com/w...dition-brabus/ (with it's old plate on)

    A few of the bits...
S-Mann Lowered springs & Bilstein B8 shortened dampers fitted.
Airball / centre console lights (led) that switch on with the lights
    speedo lights ...red
    tinted repeater lights
    yokohama AD08 205 45 16

    alloys powder coated black.
    headlights black
    angel eye kit.
induction kit, forge hoses 3 hose kit.
    clutch actuator.
engine mount polyeurethane fitted orange voids ??? wtf?
    filter ram air.
    tinted rear lights.
    sound deadening.
    remap.

    footwell lights.
    optistarter red led light.
    eengine earth upgrade leads
    non moped horn!

..other stuff yet to be seen / read.
Hmm, all of a sudden I've got to question whether the nipper should have this as her learner car

If the AC is nonfunctional then chances are your condenser rad is rotten/holed - a very common failure point. On ours it literally came out in two halves - it was that rotten.

The keyless start, if it's the optigear one (sounds like it) is not something I'd recommend. I had the same system on my roadster - was very nice and I liked it until one day I started the engine, then couldn't stop it again - the button was nonresponsive & the LED just kept blinking at me. I had to rip out the centre console and unplug the unit to get the engine to switch off.

This was at 2am outside my house after returning from a night out and my neighbours were very unimpressed!

So I suggest replacing for the key barrel ASAP before you fall foul of the same issue - which I know has happened to others also.

Otherwise, the edition Red is a lovely thing - photos needed ASAP!

Thanks for that, what am I looking for in terms of spares / cost for garage to conduct that if that's the case, I note it was re-gassed just the other year, however it was weak as pish on the way home so there is a problem regardless.
will head to Evilution.. but those who know please chime in

The A/C condenser is just a rad but for air con gas/fluids instead of water.

You could fit it (if the system has lost all gas), then get an air on guy to regas it , if it is still partially gassed, then you need to have it evacuated safely (for the environment)

You donít need a garage per se , just an aircon specialist (mobile ones are available) and most most garages farm the job out anyway.

    £50/£60 base price (new)

You beauty! ..y'know this element I couldn't find on the evilution site (so far).
That is an acceptable price indeed, thank you for this.
(& yes environmental safety is key for me, couldn't live with myself if I wantonly discharged it).

I paid about £350 or so for S2Smarts to replace my Condensor. But they fitted a genuine one rather than a pattern - cost of the part was the majority of the cost of repair.

Nope, for the reasons already stated, ..have you read the terms of service & ownership?
