    Default Boot opening.

My battery went flat so charged it up and the autolock had enabled itself so I disabled it. No problems.

However, it now seems that to open the boot I have to turn the engine off. I am sure it never used to be like that.

Anyone know how to make it so I can open the boot with the engine running?

I need it because I have a tinted rear window and when it is dark I can't see out of the back to reverse up my drive. It was easy with the 450 as it has a button to open it whereas on the 451 I have to get out and open it then get back in but now I have to turn the bloody engine off, get out, open it then get back in and start it, Infuriating.

    I'll have a look at mine later .... )

Don't you have room to do a 37 point turn at the top of your drive?

Only if next door are not home. The problem with that is that when you come home cat wants attention so you have to get in quickly or he lies under your wheels purring. I suppose one could let Darwin's theories take their natural course but er indoors would be somewhat dischuffed if I did that.

Just checked and my boot window will open with the engine running. Mine is a facelift whether that makes a difference and it is slightly different from my deceased 451 in that the latches to open the lower part are solenoid operated and the old 451 were not (or didn't work if they should have been)

The only thing I lack in that particular escapade is the motivation. I do actually have one spare without tint.
