    Some weeks later there has been NO whitening / adverse reaction of silicone rubber fed / nourished rubber bungs with the araldite (which was at least 10 years old).

    Anticipate that if there was going to be a reaction it would have kicked off by now.

    Success & put the thread to bed conclusively.

    Araldite doesn't contain cyanoacrylate so won't cause whitening.
    The difference between good and great is nothing more than effort and commitment.
