I checked my ForTwo and I have the exact same wire tucked up under the dash. As I suspected it is a speaker wire for the original crappy plastic speakers that are screwed to the back of the dashboard. When the upgrade speaker system is fitted they use their own loom so the original speaker wiring is then redundant.

There must be another as all I can see is two terminals.

If it is the speaker system, I seem to remember the upgrade with bass bins and discrete tweeters used the same wiring obviously but obviously with the separate connection for the tweeters.
I fitted a couple of mine with the upgrade system.

I've got the bass bin set up one mine, but I've never had it apart so cant inspect the wiring. However, looking about it seems that could well be correct. Trust Smart to use non industry standard wiring colours and motorbike battery charger connectors!

The upgrade speakers have a completely separate loom:

It's so long since I fitted the bass bins (twice) I can't remember whether you had to buy that mini-loom or whether the car already had (just wating for the upgrade)
