    Unhappy 2003 450 passion

After 15 years the gas struts operating the rear window have given up and the glass keeps dropping.
I have ordered two new ones from Germany , is there a fitting sheet within the club.
    Many Thanks ,
    Mick Newell.

Why do you need a "fitting sheet"? All you have to do is open the rear hatch, pop the gas struts off the fittings on the glass and the bodywork. Push the new ones on in the same orientation. Just make sure you open the glass all the way or you won't find it easy to put them on.

Thumbs up Re: 2003 450 passion

Thanks for the reply from John, it would appear to be a little more than just pull the old ones off that is the reason i asked for a crib sheet.
My thanks to Steve for providing the correct instructions to change the dampers. This way any mistakes are of my own making,

After 15 years, I bet they would just have "popped" off if you had put a wide blade screwdriver under them and twisted it.

Still, it can sometimes be nice to have your path shown in picture form.
