Default Exterior door panel removal help?

Does anyone have any links or a guide on how to replace the exterior panel on a 453?
(there are a couple on older models, albeit not very good on Youtube but none for the 453 ). I've been quoted 2 hrs labour.

Whilst Iíve done the 450 and 451 several times in the past, Iíve not had the need to remove the door panels on my 453 as yet.

Although as the warranty just expired in the last couple of week , and as I donít want my dealer looking at the door lock problem again ** , I will end up looking at them sometime soon I guess.

** they repaired them in the first year for the common problem of not operating correctly in cold weather, but managed to damage the gloss finish of the panel around the door handles in the process - they had to replace the door panels at my insistence)

A 453 exterior door panel costs £109+vat from a dealer and comes in your car's colour. Dealer has quoted an additional 2hrs labour (£200) to fit the panel. That's the same price as a bodyshop repair/respray, so, for my daughter, I'll have a go, guessing that the procedure is similar to 451, i.e. door mirror and door handle/lock off first, then trim then a pull ?

I wouldn't do it outside in this weather, you need to warm it up.

Sorry for not responding, but there was little response here, so I assumed no interest.
The job start to finish took me 2 hrs and now that I know what I'm doing I could easily do it in 30 mins !
It's the knowledge of which way to pull things that makes the job difficult. Tip: use the new panel as an indicator of the locations of retention lugs. My notes are as follows:
    1 Door Lock
    Remove 1 inbound Torx screw
Remove one rear torx bolt ( itís long)
Slide entire lock assembly, from the outside, towards the rear in order to release it
    Let the lock assembly hang

    2 Door Mirror
    Remove tiny front torx screw
Slide speaker cover upwards with a tug
Separate electrical plug with a simple pull upwards
Remove three torx screws , holding mirror for the last one and pull mirror outward and off .

    3 door panel
Slide top rubber window strip to the rear or peel off
    Remove one front torx screw
Door panel is held on by three lugs at the top: pull them upwards and forwards and out
Open door wide to enable panel to drop down and forwards and out .

Reassembly is the reverse, but start with door open at its widest and slide the front of the panel in and around the front , then up from the bottom and around the rear. Then top in and force backwards till the front lug aligns .

Reconnect all and job done; much cheaper than a bodyshop spray repair.

Thank you for this, I'm pretty inept & yet that description has given me the confidence to bid on a 453 with a cracked door panel (as long as it doesn't go crazy money).
