Default 2010 451 84hp turbo gearbox oil change

    Morning folks.

I managed to change the gearbox oil on a 451 84hp turbo a while ago, as task made much more difficult due to some sort of plastic (intercooler?) air scoop that sits right in the way of the fill plug. I couldn't see this piece on the guide I used, nor how to remove it.

In one of the pics hopefully attached, the fill plug is shown by the red arrow, the air scoop by the blue arrow.

I'd like to check the level again but it was such a pain getting to the fill plug that I've been putting it off.

Anyone else come across this, or know how to remove this scoop?

They are almost always broken or missing because of the difficulty removing them. Put up with the pain and leave the scoop alone is my advice.
