Default Fare thee well smart Brabus

    https://bye-buy-brabus.de

It's time to say "Bye Buy", because an era is coming to an end at the end of May. The production of the smart BRABUS models with 80 kW (109 hp) [4,5,6] - fortwo, fortwo cabrio and forfour - expires in May 2018.

I am shedding no tears. In my opinion so-called sporty over powered cars should be banned on public roads.

I think I tend to agree. If you want fast then buy big, if big won't do then buy a bike.

This doesn't account for the fact that the early Brabus was by accident a much better car (diesels not included).

I am not liking this 451 and am seriously thinking of an Citroen C1 electric so I may be departing the Smart scene altogether.

There was a video posted on Facebook yesterday. Showing a car park full of unsold brabus 453's
So they may have stopped making in May. Just stock until they are all sold I guess.

The Smart Fortwo Brabus 125R has been announced. Only 200 units, and liable to be 45k in the UK at current exchange rates, so unlikely to see many here. Nevertheless, Brabus clearly haven't finished with Smart, or vice-versa, else there wouldn't be a new model at all.

Yeah, probably not much of a market here. Nevertheless, it's a new Smart with a Brabus badge.

I think it is the end of the line because Mr Brabus himself died not long ago.

I think it's been on the road-map for a while unfortunately, well before Mr BRABUS died, sadly.
