Default Is Trust+ / Traction control tuneable ?

    Hi there,

I just had new tyres put on the rear wheels and every now and then the traction control engages when cornering (only seems to be corners on hills so the camber of the road might be a trigger), bit annoying as I don't like a front wheel brake grabbing when I'm not telling it to.

Tyres are the same brand and sie as on the front and what was on before, but I do have larger wheels/tyres than standard (195/45 R15) and 1cm spacers.

Is there any adjustment possible ?

    thanks!

    Mark

No, not easily and not designed to be adjustable at all.

    Try adjusting your tyre pressures.

Also you may find it will accommodate the better treaded tyres eventually on its own after some miles.

I'll give the tyre pressure a go .. I'm hoping it'll sort out itself as they wear but thought it good to check.

Maybe I'll just disable traction control with a paper clip or a while )

    thanks!

The paperclip thing seems to me to be the dumbest move ever, why screw your car for the sake of a 10 trust+ plug ?

I have permanently wired in a normally open switch. To disable Trust, all I do is turn ignition off, wait about 40 seconds for ECU to time itself out, then press and hold switch whilst starting engine. Handy when stuck in snow or mud.

Correct size is whatever fits so long as they are all have the same circumference )

195/50-R15's rubbed at certain angles on the fronts.

They don't sell them here .. paperclips are everywhere though ... besides it brings back nostalgic memories of the Commodore 64 hamster reset
