Default Alternative Lambda sensors any good?

MOT failure on Lambda reading. (1.12 lowest it got to) City Pure 0.7 petrol

Smart quoting 105 for each lambda sensor and need to order in.

Euro Car Parts do a HAAS sensor for 68 (INCL 30% DISCOUNT)

Anyone know if these are any good?

ps - tried the italian tune-up and the cataclean and a new air filter and still fails on lambda

We've not had any issues with these. Fit them in the workshop & sell through the shop.

Cheers Kate. Have done some research. No bad reports so far for any aftermarket ones. Will try the Euro parts as I can pick up tomorrow. If no good I will be in touch!

The original ones are made by Bosch, which can be picked up at any decent motor factor or parts store.

I'd always go for Bosch or NGK. You can buy a genuine Bosch sensor online for about 45 so it hardly seems worth buying a pattern part of dubious quality.

Bugger! Split the exhaust removing the sensor. Upstream one came out fine. Exhaust one was quite tight. Gave the spanner a knock and the sensor has twisted and ripped the exhaust. Any suggestions for new exhausts? City Pure 0.7 petrol.
Don't need performance, just quality to get through blasted MOT.
    Thanks
(Lil.smartie has some at 200 but they look very different?)

They are made like that so they can get through type approval. They, fit & work & will get through mot but they are noisier than std ones. Less than half the price for a reason!

Ok. Thanks. I have found a decent looking original one on ebay. Will try that first.

    Yeh - MOT passed

Ebay exhaust fitted and new Lambda sensor (upstream) - sailed through the emissions

Thanks all for advise as ever
