    Coolant return hose....The modified one, so hopefully it is no longer rubbing on the subframe!

    I fitted a brand new steering damper just to check if there would be any difference compared to not having one. Concluded steering damper made no difference whatsoever so 30 wasted.

    I would have thought that in the event of an accident the insurance would smile and retire with their money if they learned that you had been using it without one if it was supposed to have one fitted.

    So what was the reason for Smart fitting one? Manufacturers don't usually fit stuff for the hell of it, so there is presumably a combination of circumstances which makes it desirable if not essential.
