Smart Car part prices directly from Mercedes Benz

Thanks to Evilution I found this site http://www.mercedes-benz-parts.co.uk/

So I chucked in a few part numbers that I have recently acquired and it returned prices for parts which were exactly the same as from my local Smart main dealer. I just have to take the 20% VAT off and add GST at 5%.

So a good resource to find prices without having to contact your main dealer, I think it links into the same system they use.

You can find some parts by trawling through the menu system but if you know the correct part number you can find things which you can't by going through the menu system eg...

Couldn't find those without the part numbers.

That's because the website is (just) a Merc/smart dealer (Merc of Oxford) who happened to choose a nice parts related website URL

Were yours genuine Smart ones though? So far I have found the prices very reasonable being genuine Smart parts.

China China. £22 for set of pads and discs.

I just wish I had bought my mats from the main dealer. Official Smart car floor mats are £ 29.58 inc 5% GST at the Jersey main dealer whereas the non official mats I bought off eBay were £ 19.99 so for the sake of a tenner I would have bought the official ones.

I did try to buy the official ones from eBay for £ 38.89 including a £ 7.40 delivery charge but they couldn't deliver to Jersey for that price. At the end of the day the mats I bought do the job and I saved a tenner.

Also regret not buying my Tow Eye Covers from main dealer as I paid £ 1.49 each on eBay for mine whereas the main dealer charges 84p each.

Ah well at least I have finally discovered the benefits of ordering from the main dealer.
