This forum should be used where your topic is "smart" related but not smart model specific (see dedicated Forums for each model below).

  1. Club Logo Sticky Thread Sticky: Photo issues on our Forum (and across the internet)

For years Photobucket has been a great place to host photos to then embed into forums like ours. However, this has changed, and to be able to do this from Photobucket you now need to pay a $399 yearly fee. So, we're afraid you'll be seeing plenty of this 4265 from now on :angry::angry:

  11. 450 anti theft solutions?

Looking for recommendations for easy fit solutions. Don't want to chew up the steering wheel with an ancient steering wheel lock though, (especially given the small size of the smart in relation to a lock) :hide1: *cough* should I just ask my garage to hide a fuel switch or similar?

  17. with smart going electric only from 2019, will your next car be a smart?

Had a test drive of a couple of forfour autos yesterday (both 71 and 90hp versions) at Mercedes Manchester. Very impressed with them, even the 71 felt nippy around town and was adequate on the M60, but maybe I'm just used to a lack of power having driven a 71hp 451 for 10 years and plan overtaking...

  20. Smart 453 - manual or auto?

Hi, I'm browsing for a used 453 ForTwo as a commuter/runabout, the manual cars are a bit cheaper are they ok to drive or is the auto much better? I'm aware the manual is only 5 speed, with a slightly shorter final drive. Is the shift smooth?
